CPT's European operations began in 1998, and we have fully owned subsidiaries in the UK and Germany.   We currently operate in the UK, Germany, France, Scandinavia, Benelux, Germany and Austria.

Our European business is primarily focused on the technical services side of the business, specialising in distributed and mainframe performance tuning, Capacity and Availability Management as well as Disk and Tape Tuning and architecture.   Many of our assignments are geared towards IT cost optimisation through Consumption reduction strategies.   The European customer base is composed primarily of large finanical services organisations, although we also do work in the government and retail sectors.

The European business has consistently increased over the past 3 or 4 years, and we expect that to continue through the establishment of new clients and through expanded relationships with existing clients.   Europe is a very competitive environment, and business consolidation will likely keep cost control high on the agenda of European CIO's.
