Gerry Tuddenham founded CPT in 1993 to provide technical consulting
in Capacity Planning, Performance Tuning and Testing Services
to a small number of major information technology (IT) users.
In 1996 Peter Corrigan joined Gerry to lead CPT’s expansion
into the provision of technical IT consulting services for
companies with mid-range platforms. CPT’s expansion
continued into Sydney and London in 1998, followed with the
establishment of the Canberra office and the training division
in 2000.
Also in 2000, CPT Global Limited listed on the Australian
Stock Exchange (ASX). Peter Wright joined the company in 2001
as a director and lead practitioner to extend the services
offered by CPT into the area of IT management.
In January 2002 CPT acquired the Australian IT management
consulting and project management business Deakin Management
Consulting. Deakin brought in extra resources for CPT including
access to over fifty experienced consultants with a proven
track record of catering to the needs of a large client list
that included Federal and State Government Departments and
private sector organisations.
